The company was founded in 1994, driven by what the founder of Amazon,Jeff Bezos[2]called his "minimization of regret" framework, which described his efforts to defend himself from regret for not participating in the commercial boom of the Internet during that time. In April 1994, Bezos left his job as vice president at D. E.
